Report for Duty: Who Really Benefits from your Charitable Offerings?

This week, I want to challenge you. I will tell you from the outset, I intend to make you uncomfortable and to stretch you beyond where you typically live. Why? Because that is where growth happens, that is where the momentum begins, and that is how you become an unstoppable force for good beyond even your biggest dreams. I can comfortably assure this because I have witnessed it for myself in several areas already this year.

Today, we’re going to look at charitable giving. My first question for you is, “how much are you giving to benefit other people?” Got your answer ready? Good because that’s not enough. Not even close. You are much more capable than you realize and give yourself credit for, and no, I am not suggesting you make major personal sacrifices and life-changing decisions n order to get there. In fact, it’s easier than you think.

Abundance and Importance Versus a Scarcity Mindset and Urgent

As we settle into the new year, I want to encourage you this week to continue to keep at the forefront of your mind those ideas, dreams, and goals you started the year with. Many people who are not reading this article and are not focused on becoming the best versions of themselves have already long forgotten all of the things they said they were going to do this year.

This brings me to my first encouragement for you in this post. Ideas are just dreams until they’re written down. If you haven’t already, it’s never too late to start but wherever you fall here, get your dreams, visions, ideas, goals, and any and everything else you want to accomplish down on paper. Got it? Good.

Is the Shouting Deafening Your Ability to Listen to the Whispers?

We are all aware, or if you have somehow been able to avoid the news, you don’t have to look hard to discover that there is a lot of anger, divisiveness, and judgment pervading our society today. With hopes that the future can and will always be better, I write today to encourage you to practice kindness and goodness.

Moreover, I encourage you to turn any anger you have into acceptance, any disappointment into hope and any hurts you have into healing. Each and every one of us has the ability to change the narrative and the future. As is so often the case, my motivation, and my words today are a result of a quote I came across recently.
